A gentle December heart-check for you ๐Ÿค

Dose of Kinder and Kindness

Hello Mama,

December is in full-swing! Can you believe it? Somehow this month manages to be both festive and overwhelming. We're juggling errands, emotions, expectations, and the desire to make sweet memories... all while keeping tiny humans alive and thriving.

So I want to pause the noise and simply ask: How are you really doing?

Not the "I'm fine" answer we give in passing. Not the "busy but good" we say at church.

I mean your heart. Your spirit. Your energy. How you are.

For me, stepping into December sparked a heart shift. This month's memory verse - Eph. 4:34-5:2 - has been gently slowing me down and softening my responses:

"Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God."

I didn't expect it to ground me the way it has. But goodness... God used that tiny verse in big ways. On days I've felt snappy, stretched, rushed, or overwhelmed, that verse echos in my mind just when I needed it. Such a small thing - a simple verse- ended up softening my responses, calming my spirit, and helping me reset.

This is exactly why I'm so passionate about giving you tools to help your children grow spiritually while you grow right alongside them. God works in our homes in the sweetest, simplest ways.

So tell me, truly - how is your December going so far? What's been a joy? What's been hard?

Hit reply and share anything - even if it's messy, even if it's short. I'm in your corner and would love to pray for you in a specific way.

You're doing better than you think. And you're not alone. ๐Ÿค

Praying for you,

Susan @ Your Kinder Source
