Hello Mama,
December... came too fast but is a sweet month to teach our little ones about Jesus. With all the excitement, lights, activities, and busyness, it's the perfect time to slow down and focus on who Jesus is and how His heart shows us how to live.
That's why this month's theme is:
๐ The Characteristics of Jesus ๐
We'll be helping our little ones learn that Jesus is loving, humble, kind, compassionate, obedient, and fiercely fought for our salvation. We will also show them that we, too, can follow His Perfect example in our everyday moments.
๐ Child's Verse:
"Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you." - Ephesians 4:32
๐ Parent's Verse:
"Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God." Ephesians 4:32 - 5:2
This is such a grounding reminder for us. As we guide their little hearts, we get to model what it means to walk in the love of Christ - even when December gets overwhelming.
