September Memory Verse Challenge ✨

Dose of Kinder and Kindness

Hello Mama,

Can you believe we are already done with the first week of September? A new school year, fresh routines, and for us--a brand new memory verse challenge to hide God's Word on our hearts alongside our little ones. πŸ’›

This month, we are starting right at the very beginning of the Bible with the story of creation. What a powerful reminder for our children (and for us!) that God is the Maker of all things, and His Word brings order, light, and goodness.

🧠 September Memory Verses

For Kids:

πŸ“– "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." --Genesis 1:1

Short, simple, and foundational. Perfect for preschoolers to begin memorizing God's Word!

For Parents:

πŸ“– "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. And God said, 'Let there be light,' and there was light. And God saw that the light was good." -- Genesis 1:1-3

The verses set the stage for the entire Biblical story: God as Creator, the Spirit's presence from the start, and the power of God's spoken Word to bring light into darkness.

As we step into this new month, I pray these verses anchor your home in God's truth--that your little ones begin to see the beauty of His creation all around them, and that your own heart is refreshed by remembering His power to bring light into any place of darkness.

Praying for you,

Susan @ Your Kinder Source
